FAQ
Where does your beef come from?
Every cut of beef we sell comes from cattle born and raised in Rich County, Utah.
Each animal is thoughtfully processed one at a time in Bear Lake, Utah, ensuring complete transparency from pasture to plate.
Is your beef USDA certified?
Yes. Our processing facility is USDA inspected, meaning it meets rigorous federal standards for sanitation, food safety, and humane processing practices. It's one more way we ensure every cut reflects the quality and care you expect from Farm to Table Life.
How long is your beef aged?
Every cut of our beef is carefully aged for 14 days to enhance its natural tenderness and deepen its rich, beefy flavor. This traditional aging process allows natural enzymes to gently break down the muscle fibers, resulting in a more tender, flavorful, and enjoyable eating experience.
What makes your beef different from grocery store beef?
Unlike beef that may come from multiple ranches and processing facilities, our beef is fully traceable to Rich County, Utah.
Our grass-fed cattle roam more than 3,000 acres of open pasture, breathe crisp mountain air, drink naturally alkaline spring water, and are raised without added hormones or antibiotics.
With our 14-day aging process, it's a difference you can taste in every bite.
Are your cattle raised with added hormones?
No. Our cattle are raised without added hormones. We believe exceptional beef begins with thoughtful animal care, a clean, natural diet, and responsible ranching practices. From open pastures and natural spring water, every step is guided by our commitment to raising high-quality beef you can trust.
What do your cattle eat before processing?
Our cattle spend their lives grazing on open pastures across more than 3,000 acres in Rich County, Utah. During the final 90 to 120 days before processing, they continue grazing while receiving daily rations of crushed barley or wheat. This carefully balanced finishing program enhances the rich marbling, tenderness, and flavor of our beef while allowing the cattle to maintain a natural, lower-stress pasture lifestyle.
Are your cuts hand-trimmed?
Yes. Every cut is carefully hand-trimmed by our butchers to ensure exceptional quality, consistency, and presentation. Unlike high-volume processing facilities, hand trimming allows each cut to receive the attention it deserves, resulting in cleaner cuts, less excess fat, and a premium product we're proud to serve. From the day it's raised to the day it's processed, your beef remains in the care of our ranch family.
How is the beef packaged?
Every cut is individually vacuum-sealed to lock in freshness, preserve quality, and ensure it arrives at your doorstep in peak condition.
How is the beef shipped?
Every order is expertly packed with insulated packaging and dry ice to keep your beef frozen, protect its quality, and ensure it arrives ready for your freezer.
How long will it take to receive my order?
Orders are fulfilled based on current inventory and are typically processed and delivered or shipped within 2–3 business days. Delivery times may vary by location. If an item is temporarily unavailable, we'll contact you with an updated estimated delivery timeline.
Will my beef arrive frozen?
Yes. Every order is carefully packed with insulated packaging and dry ice to maintain a safe temperature throughout transit. Most orders arrive completely frozen, though slight surface thawing can occasionally occur depending on weather and delivery or shipping conditions. As long as the beef arrives cold to the touch, it remains safe to refrigerate or refreeze without compromising quality.

How will I know when my order has shipped?
Once your order has been fulfilled, you'll receive it in one of two ways:

We'll personally deliver your order and contact you to schedule a convenient delivery time.
Outside of Northern Utah:
Your order will be carefully packaged and shipped. Once it's on its way, you'll receive an email and text message with your tracking information so you can follow its journey to your doorstep.
How should I store my beef?
For the best quality, place your beef in the freezer as soon as it arrives. If you plan to enjoy it within a few days, you can safely store it in the refrigerator. Thanks to our vacuum-sealed packaging, unopened cuts stay fresh longer while preserving their flavor and quality.
What's the best way to thaw my beef?
For the best flavor and texture, thaw your beef slowly in the refrigerator. Most cuts will thaw within 24–48 hours, depending on their size. If you need to thaw your beef more quickly, place the sealed package in cold water, changing the water every 30 minutes until thawed. We do not recommend thawing beef at room temperature.
What is your return policy?
Because our beef is a perishable product, we are unable to accept returns. However, your satisfaction is important to us. If there's ever an issue with your order, please contact us, and we'll work with you to make it right.
